Theatre credits include Off-Off-Broadway (Jean Cocteau Rep–style classical and contemporary work), regional and summer stock productions, and a Carbonell Award nomination for Killer Joe. She has national commercial credits (Red Lobster), commercial print work (AT&T), and book-cover modeling for major romance imprints.

Charlie is also a Doctor of Ministry, a Board-Certified Clinical Spiritual Provider, and a Master Certified Life Coach with 15+ years as a trauma-aware, child -and family-centered educator. She now leads The Hornes Studio | Hill Country Acting Collective & Story Lab, bringing professional-grade craft, imagination work, and truthful storytelling to children and adults in Kerrville

Dr. Charlie M. Hornes is a conservatory-trained, union-credentialed actor with a career built in New York City, Miami, and major studio sets. A BFA graduate of Marymount Manhattan College, she trained in Stanislavski, Meisner, Strasberg, and Stella Adler under master teachers from the Jean Cocteau Repertory. Her NYC coaching lineage traces directly through Rod McLucas, Richard Niles, Adrienne Williams, Bill Bordeaux, and Pat Hoag Simon.

Her professional credits span DreamWorks, Castlerock, HBO, NBC, CBS, FOX, MTV, and the Law & Order franchise. She worked on camera and behind it, serving as stand-in and rehearsal partner for Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Hanks, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Sandra Bullock, Sarah Jessica Parker, Mariska Hargitay, and Christopher Meloni. Her technical work included precision marks, blocking with leads, and supporting lighting and DP teams on fast-moving studio sets.
