Children’s Acting Class and Story Lab | Story Foundations — World Fables & Friends

$275.00

Children’s Winter Studio | Ages 9-13

Dates: Jan 15 – Mar 5 • Thursdays 5:30–7:00PM PM | 2026

Discover how stories work through re-imagined world fables and ensemble play. Students learn to think like young actors—building imagination, purpose, and partner awareness through the same principles in the method taught by legendary New York and LA acting teacher Stella Adler, whose students, including Marlon Brando, Robert De Niro, Salma Hayek, Mark Ruffalo, and Benicio del Toro among many, helped redefine modern performance through imagination, truth, and expressive size.

This seven-week studio series introduces the Adler focus on doing, not feeling —helping children discover what a character wants and how story comes alive through truthful action and imaginative size.

Open to ages 9–13. Small group (10 seats total) for personalized coaching and confidence-building. Students must be within age range prior to the start of each session.

Studio Attire

Acting is physical work. Students should arrive ready to move, sit on the floor, and work freely without distraction.

Shoes: Jazz or character shoes (black preferred). No street shoes or flip-flops.

Clothing Colors: Black, navy, charcoal, or burgundy only — no logos or printed designs.

Clothing Type: Loose, flexible, professional rehearsal wear. Think stretch pants, soft tees, fitted tops, or dancewear that allows full range of motion.

Socks: Dark colors only; avoid bright patterns.

Jewelry/Hair: Minimal jewelry; hair secured away from the face.

The goal is clarity, not costume — simple, neutral clothing lets us see truthful movement and focus on the work.
